Oh hell, what is it with hail??? It's even in the state song. Sorry for singing so off key, but the rest of my Element band members (Metal, Water, Earth, and Fire) are so very far away and probably don't know the words either. I'm hot Air, of course, but that's beside the point. Hmm, what was the point? Oh yeah...

I've made it home in one piece - no more rain, hail, tornadoes, etc. Just sunshine and a very long drive. My friends informed me this morning that the local news last night kept broadcasting that travelers on I-85 between exits 51 and 58 should seek immediate shelter, and I had to wonder how in the hell we were supposed to have received that sage piece of advice while dodging hail and parked cars and attempting to see past the hood of our own vehicle - that would be bonnet, Brits. :)

Anyway, thanks to everyone who replied to my rather nerve-wracking post of last evening. It truly was quite a harrowing experience, and I am ever so grateful things worked out as well as they did.

In my insane quest to write the 12 days of Christmas, I somehow got my days confused and had it in mind that the 6th of December was the day which marked the celebration of ariestess' birthday. My plan was to incorporate a special fic for day 6 in honor of the occasion, but it appears I've screwed up royally. So...

ariestess, I hope to have something posted for you later today. If not, a belated wish will be winging your way soon. Wishing you a fun-filled day!

The time has finally come to slide into the comfort zone that is Friends Only. Thanks to everyone who offered suggestions for the FO banner, not to mention choosing to stay for awhile longer. :)

Yes, I know that's a scary thought, but I just couldn't help myself. :)

It seems that everyone is going to 'friends only' these days, and I'm seriously considering doing the same. atfm has graciously agreed to create a header/banner - whatever the hell the thing is called - for me, but I can't decide who should grace 'it' with their presence. So, this post serves two purposes:

1. Any suggestions as to who should appear on the header? I've dabbled in way too many fandoms, but I'd like to include individuals who others associate with me. So???

2. Now is your chance to bail out of the insanity. If you'd like to continue to receive my posts, reply to this e-mail. If not, you can reply if you'd like, but your silence is acceptable as well. My grandmother always told me that sometimes it's best to just leave the room. So, if you're ready to go, I understand.
